محاضرة مدتها ساعة واحدة حول فقه رمضان يلقيها الأستاذ محمد تيم همبل. ينحدر محمد تيم همبل من نيوكاسل، وقد تخرّج عام 2011 من كلية الحديث والدراسات الإسلامية بجامعة المدينة المنورة. الأستاذ تيم همبل مسلم بريطاني الأصل، حاصل على إجازة في الكتب الستة المشهورة في الحديث النبوي. كما يتمتع بخبرة في مجال الرقية الشرعية، وهي المنهج الإسلامي للعلاج بالقرآن، ويتخصص في علاج السحر والعين. اعتنق الإسلام في سن الرابعة عشرة، ويشارك حاليًا في نشاطات الدعوة من خلال مؤسسة IDC North East العاملة في نيوكاسل ومحيطها.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ ۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَحِيمٌ O you who believe, avoid and stay far away from suspicion and assumption, for indeed suspicion in some cases is a sin; and do not spy or backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it, so hate backbiting. Be conscious of Allah, as indeed, you will find Allah is Accepting of repentance, Extremely Merciful. Surah Al Hujurat | 49:12

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ الْعَمَلِ فِيهِنَّ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ فَأَكْثِرُوا فِيهِنَّ مِنْ التَّهْلِيلِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ وَالتَّحْمِيدِ There are no days greater and more beloved to Allah than these ten days of Dhul Hijjah, so increase in them your declaration of the oneness of Allah (Laa ilaha ilal'Allah), your exaltation of Him (Allahu Akbar), and your praise of Him (Alhamdulillah). إِنِّي خَرَجْتُ لِأُخْبِرَكُمْ بِلَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ وَإِنَّهُ تَلَاحَى فُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ فَرُفِعَتْ وَعَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرًا لَكُمْ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي السَّبْعِ وَالتِّسْعِ وَالْخَمْسِ ‘Ubadah ibn al-Samit reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came out to inform people about the Night of Decree in Ramadan, but two Muslim men were insulting each other. The Prophet said: Certainly, I have come out to tell you about the Night of Decree, but two men were insulting each other. Thus, its knowledge was removed and perhaps it is better for you. Look for it during the seventh, ninth, or fifth night of the last ten nights. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 49, Grade: Sahih

إِنَّهُ مَنْ قَامَ مَعَ الإِمَامِ يعنى في رمضان حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَةٍ Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Certainly, whoever stands for prayer in Ramadan with the Imam until he is finished, it will be recorded as if he prayed the entire night.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 806 | Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Tirmidhi

We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss. (Surah Al Isra | 17:82) * It is a long khutbah but it's so worth a listen, especially in such times of adversities (by Our Brother Abu Bakr Zoud)

Abu Qatadah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about fasting the day of Arafat and he said: يُكَفِّرُ السَّنَةَ الْمَاضِيَةَ وَالْبَاقِيَةَ It will expiate the sins of the previous and upcoming years. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1162, Grade: Sahih
